  October 20, 2019 - I have been enjoying this wine for several years and have found its really a food friendly wine, especially with red sauces IMO.
  
  It is starting to get a little tired and I will consume the last few bottles soon. The nose is still hanging on to the fruit but the age and secondary flavors are emerging. Just a slight bricking on the edges but nothing to indicate 13 years of age.
  
  The palate shows more of the secondary flavors of prune, older red fruits and some truffle to finish this out.
  
  The wine has some oxidation on it so very little to no decanting is needed but that is my preference. Best enjoyed with food as it still delivers a great pairing!
