October 29, 2019 - Agree with the other posters. For a $12.79 Bourgogne, this is surprisingly good. Has a lovely, silky texture and mouthfeel. Shows plenty of tart, tangy cherry and pomegranate fruit on the front-palate, with good depth and intensity. Finishes long, with prominent notes of mineral and earth. Just slightly bitter and "stemmy" at the very end, though. Could easily improve with another couple of years of bottle aging. Very good QPR here.
