  November 7, 2019 - A very good example of Sylvaner. Acidity is very noticeable right away, but not wincingly so. Made me think of Loire Sauvignon Blanc at first but this really isn’t like, say a Sancerre . Nose of grass clippings and grapefruit. Nice but muted note of cantaloupe on the palate. Very light color in the glass. Yes it is straightforward but that would also make it versatile. Could see this standing up to asparagus or problematic shellfish dishes.
