Community Tasting Note

November 9, 2019 - Quite lip-smacking, sweet fruit of dark cherries, blackberries and raspberries. Not very structured with a tad low acidity for me to really enjoy it. But it is really clean, and has a strejk of minerality, so it might very well have potential to develop into something much more interesting. Should probably wait a couple of years before opening the next bottle.

10/31/20, 10:01 AM - Asking mostly out of curiosity -- what do you expect to change by "waiting a couple of years before opening the next bottle"? I also found that this wine was low in tannins and in structure, so tannic precipitation doesn't seem likely to change much here. But I am still learning much, so I wanted to ask anyways. What else do you expect to change over time?

I don't have enough experience drinking "before//after" cellar time with wines (for any reason other than toning down heavy tannins) to make an assessment, which is why I asked! I suppose that in a way what you are suggesting is similar, hoping for the mineral quality to play a more prominent role? Thank you for your response!
