  November 11, 2019 - This floored me. On the first night the wood influence was quite pronounced, showing as spice and a bit of vanilla. I’m not a fan of excessive oak, but in this case the spice just enhanced the dark fruit and liquorice. Excellent acidity, great balance. In night two, the wood spice had faded and the wine had taken on a mellow richness, with plum, bay leaf, and black fruit all working together well.
