November 15, 2019 - Different style than the 2016 Patz & Hall Hyde enjoyed earlier with dinner. Pale gold color with aromatics which indicate some slight oak treatment. Medium aromas and flavors of tropical fruits: pineapple, melon, and guava, with some juicy yellow apple, and white poached pear. Fresh medium acidity which makes me believe this has seen only partial Malolactic fermentation. Medium finish. At five years this seems to still be in development, should safely cellar for another two plus years.
