Community Tasting Note

  • bestdamncab Likes this wine: 93 points

November 26, 2019 - Note of sweet and sour fruit, red and black cherry, and forest floor, same on the palate, medium/big body, very tasty, took two hours to open in my glass, but worth the wait, subtle yet rich fruit, almost mouth filling fruit, nice, sweet fruit, should earn higher score in 3 years, and a long, flavorful finish.

4/17/20, 12:59 PM - Hello: You are the only one reviewing this wine, but looks like your rating changed quite a bit within the same month. Just curious why it changed from 91 to 94 and back to 93?

4/17/20, 1:33 PM - Tasted 3 times, my memory says both November bottles showed a marked improvement over the 8/11/2019 bottle (with subdued fruit) due to 3 more months cellar age and more time in the glass before dinner and enjoying the Pinot Noir which allowed it to open and show better.
A difference of 94 vs 93 is very small to me for the 2 November tastings.
Hope this helps and thank you for your comments on my Tasting Notes.

4/17/20, 3:19 PM - You are smart to order a case as it is not only Very Good Pinot Noir but also a Very Good Winery. Enjoy and share a TN please.
