November 28, 2019 - Not rating this since the purpose of this note is more a warning about proper serving rather than the merits of the wine. Prior tasting note was based off 375 and properly chambered and aired. This was out of magnum and due to circumstances could not be chambered for more than an hour and also given 1 hr of air. This hid a lot of the more refined and complex notes of the earlier half bottle. If ever one needed a reminder that high sediment wines, like this one, need time to settle and also decanting, this wine provides it. Still a fabulous wine but with sour edges that were absent from the earlier experience and missing that extra edge of fabulousness that you will get if you treat it nicely.
