  November 29, 2019 - Surprised at how well this modest Umbrian vino bianco has held up after 13 years. Far better than most new world Chardonnays. Beneath the butterscotch and roasted nuts there are ripe yellow apple fruits and a vibrant tautness on the palate and finish. Matched a heavy Thanksgiving meal and was particularly well matched with the red beet, roasted carrot and pesto melange, as well as the sweet potato extravaganza.
