  December 3, 2019 - Keeping in line with previous encounters, this is deceptively smooth, slowly revealing Asian spices and cool Shiraz fruit, displaying layer upon layer of restrained yet impressive aromatics. Judged on their own, Clonakilla wines can underwhelm, but next to others they tend to stand out, with impeccable balance and depth of flavours. This was no exception. Also, one of the few New World wines that work with classic haute cuisine.
