  December 8, 2019 - Opened and decanted at restaurant for 30 minutes. When decanted several people at the table said "cherries." Even the waiter mentioned it when he came back. Nose and notes of sour cherry, cassis, graphite, with some oak still showing. Smooth, lots of fruit still, medium bodied and continued to improve with time in the glass. One of my friends even sent me a email today telling me it took her back to when she was a child, eating so many cherries off her Grandmothers sour cherry tree that she would get sick. Nice that wine can evoke memories like that. By far the best bottle yet. 92+
