  December 12, 2019 - very deeply colored, purplish rim. on the nose ripe dark and red rustic and brambly fruits, mossy forest floor earth, licorice... no new oak. on the palate dry, high acids, moderate midpalate weight and depth, high amount of firm and chunky tannins, moderate alcohol. balanced wine that has shortish length, very good intensity and complexity. this is a great value, very true to place and varietal... loved it thought don't think it has the stuffing to be excellent or to improve with time.
