Community Tasting Note

December 13, 2019 - During a wine dinner. Consistent with my last tasting note. This wine, which is sourced from Georges Lignier (an under the radar producer) is a stunner. Wonderful stemmy notes intermixed with red fruit, game, toast, leather. 96+

12/15/19, 4:21 AM - Hello. I'm a lover of Burgundy and an Officier-Commandeur in the Naples, Florida Chapter of the Tastevin. I think Mounir Saouma, the "monk" behind Lucien LeMoine, is one of the most brilliant winemakers in Burgundy. I've had the opportunity of tasting with him in his cellars in Beaune, and have about 10 cases of his wines in my cellar. If you haven't done so already, make certain you try a bottle of his Chateauneif de Papes, both white and red. and some of his offerings from Beaujolais. They, too, exceed expectations. I enjoy your reviews....keep them coming. Thanks, Marc

12/15/19, 4:47 AM - Thanks for your note Mark. I am also huge fan of LLM, luckily Martel Wines in my home town is the biggest importer in Switzerland. Had his Omnia CdP and loved it. Looks like need to try the Bojo.
