December 19, 2019 - A private pre-Christmas Dinner with Friends (at home): There is some confusion about the name of the wine, “Granit” or “Granite”. The label of this magnum bottle says the latter, but I will record it here as the former. Hermine d’Or No. 67247. Intense but lively medium yellow colour; lovely salinity on the discreet nose, with citrus and flowers, and smoky minerality; the palate is soft but fresh, light but intense, harmonious, with lemon curd and juicy apple fruit flavours; complete finish, good length.
