December 15, 2019 - Vignoles is a clone grape variety that is a big grape in middle America, and in Missouri. We tasted this at the winery in 2015 and liked it very much. Aging in the cellar has impacted the wine favorably in that it is very smooth and a great sipping wine. I had it with some good cheddar cheese and crackers and that was a good match. I intend to finish my allocation of this wine soon as I don't think aging will assist it much longer. Dry, tangy soft white with a smooth short finish. I give it an 89.
The wine looks silver colored. The legs are fast. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like orange blossom, honeydew and light toast. It tastes like mineral. The body is light. The wine has smooth texture. The wine finishes short. The wine has low acidity.
