  December 27, 2019 - JDEE below has just about nailed it. Needs three hour decant to soften some of the tannin after which this is an absolute pleasure to drink now. Delicious cassis aroma and flavours which build in the mouth. I personally didn't get any cigar box but there's graphite and minerals aplenty. I don't have much experience of Las Cases and I know they can be very long lived but I don't see this improving much in the future. Delicious for current drinking and 5yrs into the future.
