January 1, 2020 - It's that time of year again. In the twelve months since I first had this, it's become ubiquitous. Very pale. Faint moscato-like nose with a saline hint. Pretty good acidity on the palate, not too much sugar. A bit of herbal/nettle complexity and a touch of gooseberry, but generally quite simple and lacking any bite to stop you glugging it - there's no way you'd mistake this for real wine, unless it was years since you had any. Not too bad though, and looks the part. [Composite cork + cage; <0.5% abv; Scotmid, £3].
