  January 1, 2020 - Plums, dark cherries, chocolate, touch of blackberry, hint of raspberry 'tartness', lovely integrated spice from the 26 months in French Oak. The wine is maturing, with lovely soft texture and mouthfeel with the tannins now softening, leaving a hint of drying on the finish. A long and lingering finish. Definitely give this ~2 hours in the decanter to really show its stuff. Personally, I would not hold much longer on this. In a good place now.
