The palate is more tawny port. It's pretty sweet, very brown, but with good balance throughout and a decent spine of acidity. Interesting, and certainly alive, but not necessarily good; in fact, I'm not interested beyond an oz or so every couple of hours. Either way, it's an oddity and fun enough.
