    January 5, 2020 - Some of the up-front fruit has calmed down, leaving a blast of acidity on the finish. I can see why some might call this "astringent". As it stands right now, the wine needs a lot of aeration fort his to calm - however, I think that cellaring would be most useful to achieve the balance it once had. Still a very good wine, but not the kind you're going to want to sip on its own without food or in a line-up of other cabs (the acidity would be a welcome feature for this wine).
