  January 6, 2020 - This wine had strong aromas of strawberry, cherry and new leather. The alcohol level was definitely a bit elevated. On the palate we got intense dried cranberries and red plum. The wine is still very young and has very grippy, chewy tannins that explode with cranberries. The tannins are the first wave of the attack and they come in fast and strong. It takes awhile for the tannins to dissipate. This wine needs a lot more time in the cellar before it should be tried again. At least 5 more years. Other than that, it’s a really great wine.
