  January 11, 2020 - Medium bright ruby red in color with ever-so-slight clearing at the edges. Full, forward & attractive nose of ripe fruit aromas of cherries, blueberries & plums with overtones of spice notes of allspice & cloves with earthy/dusty notes, some floral notes, herbs, minerals & a hint of sous-bois. Medium bodied with a good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, ripe fruit flavors of cherries, strawberries & tart cranberries with spices, cherry cola & minerals. Lingering finish. Drinks quite well at present & at 6 years of age, it is quite close to its peak of development. Should hold for a few years more if cellared properly but any further development would be minimal.
