  A little fruit and a chunk of salinity, almost smokiness, on the nose.
  
  The palate is very smooth, rounded, mineral, with quite a complex flavour, and a lingering finish. There is just a little acidity to balance it. This is a subtle wine, not big and in your face, so it needs pairing carefully, or just as an aperitif. It benefits from a little air and from not being too cold.
  
  For me this is comparable to Burgundies of twice the price. Definitely a repeat buy at US$35.
