January 12, 2020 - Deep gold color, when swirling it seems that the wine has a rather frozen or gooey quality, similar to a Sauternes, however, this is not due to residual sugar, as this is a dry wine with, I would guess, less than 4gr res sugar.

In the nose lime, brioche, hints of butter and a saline note, after some time a whiff of green banana and then more intense lime and a bit of bitter orange zest. Like a Heymann Löwenstein 2006 Uhlen R but with less sweetness and more acidity.

On the palate, absolutely marvelous, oily, buttery mouthfeel, brioche, lime and apricot with some chalky undertone. Unfortunately, this was my last bottle. Will try to buy more, as this wine should hold easily another 10+ years
