Community Tasting Note

January 13, 2020 - Bottle variation? Both recent notes are accurate based on the two bottles I've had.

First bottle was so delicious I inquired into purchasing another case. Cab franc came through aver well, great fruit, great acid, oaking and alcohol were evident but integrated enough that the wine didn't feel clunky or hot.

Second bottle tasted heat damaged. The beautiful fruit in the first bottle were instead heavily stewed with the alcohol, oak, and tannin. Down the drain.

2/9/20, 3:37 PM - Third bottle in line with the first: great/not flawed. If I were to complain...

plum dominates the fruit and the tannins are definitely present... perhaps a bit coarse. This is not a "soft" wine

1/5/22, 7:58 AM - This thing needs a good run thru the venturi into a long decant.
I think I had to do 2x on the earlier btls.
It has settled down now, the last 2 btls were extraordinary.
