  January 14, 2020 - Even better then last bottle, tons of sediment so gave it a good double decant and took out to dinner. Very dark almost black but beautifully resolved and smooth. Lots of herbs, leather, dark meat and old world funk which was on the earthy side but not intrusive. Flavors where more deep then you would expect as the wine was mote towards an elegant body then rich and it went great with many dishes around the table. Ready to drink suspect it will be good for few more years at this level but not much upside in ageing.
