  January 19, 2020 - One of the best California Syrah you will drink at any price. I haven’t had SQN but have had Alban, Araujo Eisele, Lillian, Dumol Jacks etc. This is more of a “cool climate” Syrah devoid of the over ripeness many Cali Syrah can have. 14% alcohol but it seemed lower to me. Balance is perfect and the finish goes forever. Medium mouthfeel with perfect acidity and velvety smooth tannins. You do not want the Wine to be finished. Great effort by Denner but then every single Wine I’ve tried from this Winery has been exceptional I should have never quit the Wine Club.
