Nose of cranberry, pomegranate, many a hint of sulfur. Palate has a root beer back palate note, some black cherry toward the front. Moderate but drying tannins. Mouthfeel seems a little thin. Lacks depth and complexity. Hoping it’s just in a dumb phase. Have another bottle in the cellar so will wait awhile and try again. Not rating due to my divergent experience.
