January 25, 2020 - Whoever says Napa doesn’t age well is dead wrong. This beauty is still going strong at 25 years old showing no signs of weakness. Famed “Rutherford dust” very much present. Silky smooth and extremely long finish. Drink now or save for another 5 years (or more).

1/3/21, 8:16 AM - Hey Ryan....just found this note of yours. In many ways I agree, but it all depends on when the wine was made and WHO the winemaker was. Generally speaking, the Napa cab winemakers of the 70's, 80's and 90's all practiced differently than the 'popular' Napa winemakers of today, do. With perhaps the exception of people like Chris Carpenter (Lokoya, Cardinale, Mt. Brave, LaJota), Pierre Seillon (Verite, Anakota) and just a couple of others. I'm of the impression that all these new, over extracted, overmanipulated wines made today by the 'popular' crowd, won't necessarily last or age into what we would like to see in 'aged' wines. I have about 20-30 years left, so I am hanging in there to see if I'm right or not! Cheers, Mark
