  January 21, 2020 - At first I was a bit skeptical of this wine, my first from Irancy to my knowledge. In all likelihood the food was to blame, as it was completely antithetical to what was required. Later I was able to assess the true quality. Very pale ruby, fairly nondescript nose perhaps some earthy notes, moderate weight on the palate, notable acidity, strawberry and red cherry, lean. I was a convert and it would couple well with the right cuisine.
