  January 30, 2020 - 16th of 24, opened 3 hours decanted for an hour, perfect level cork half travelled, if this wine showed a fraction more fruit, it would be worthy of a very fine rating, as it is one is left with a marvellous structure and silky mouthfeel, but with flavours dominated by tobacco, suffused with hints of smoke and ash which curiously worked quite well with lamb shoulder but made a poor and unbalanced drink by itself, drink up based on my last couple of bottles as hard to see this getting better from here, in spite of still youthful appearance. Just about F (17.5).
