January 31, 2020 - Iberian Wimps (La Trompette, Chiswick): Very pale garnet, wide pale rim. Nose is subtle yet complex with light strawberry fruit, floral notes, touch of soil and liquorice. Medium bodied, gentle strawberry fruit, fine, soft tannins, moderate acidity, long harmonious finish with that touch of liquorice again. Lovely (100% garnacha).

2/1/20, 5:19 AM - Totally agree on this side or the Pond. Love the wine and on the palate it brings back very early impressions of young Rayas, with the intermingling of strawberry and granitic notes...And the almost Burgundian weightlessness. glad I just came into a 6 pack and a 1.5 litre. Also had the 2014 recently, and that is an absolute knockout, has taken on considerable weight.
