February 4, 2020 - Tasted at the Barolo and Barbaresco World Opening Tasting Event in NYC. Another of the most traditional Barolo makers. ~6,000 bottles produced. This wine is fantastic. It has everything great Barolo should have... light to medium ruby color, a texture that dances on your tongue but immense structural integrity and layers of dense flavor. Finish is very long and complex. All the elements are in balance for long term cellaring which it probably needs for maximum enjoyment. I wouldn't open one for anything except curiosity-sake until its 12th or 15th birthday.
