February 4, 2020 - Tasted at the Barolo and Barbaresco World Opening Tasting Event in NYC. Traditionally made Barbaresco from 70 year old vines and aged 40 months in 40 year old botte grande. My notes say..."WOW, very fresh, brightly fruity, long and with big structure." Extremely complex and layered with a surprisingly light density. The mouth feel seemed just a little thin or I would have gone a point or 2 higher. Excellent!
