February 6, 2020 - Clean medium garnet; clean medium nose of barnyard, dry mushrooms and some acetone; dry; medium plus acidity; medium plus tannins; medium alcohol; medium body; medium plus flavour intensity; pfn with addition of earthy soil, mushroom and fennel; long finish; poured from bottle and drunk over about 20 minutes; started quite balanced and then acidity became more aggressive and tartness increased; beautiful experience; less interesting and complex than the 1934 Charmes-Chambertin (as expected)

I had one bottle a couple of years ago that was not very impressive, but perhaps that was due to bottle variation.
