  February 8, 2020 - Decanted 90 minutes. Much better than the bottle we drank in December. Dark purple color, a little sweetness on the nose and palate. It’s of structure and flavor layers. Tannins still present but doesn’t detract from the wine and neither does the alcohol. This wine can go many more years. Fruit is wonderful with, berries, black fruit, plum with smaller amounts of secondary savory flavors. This is one of the best California Syrahs you can drink. Lots of structure yet a lot of finesse also. Elegant & Exceptional. Finish goes on forever. Worth the price.
