  February 23, 2020 - A decent merlot, but nothing to get excited about. I don't this this varietal is particularly suited to the Finger Lakes. This offering is thin and a bit insipid. However, there still is some "there" there, suggesting that as vines age, there might be some promise. For a casual bottle of wine at a picnic or such occasion, it might be fine. But, for the more "serious" wine drinker this is likely a pass.
