  February 26, 2020 - Deep ruby in the glass with lots of sediment upon decanting. Aromas of blackberry, plum, paprika, wet tobacco and hints of cedar. Big on the palate with lots of complexity from the bottle aging, but mediocre depth. I feel it needs a little bit of a push on that front to get me excited about the second glass. Overall, a really well-made wine that could benefit from a few more years of cellaring.
