  October 9, 2008 - Getting quite a bit of spice box on the nose probably from the Grenache some canned cherries too, both of those elements come through to the palate in this medium to full bodied wine. The overwhelming alcohol taste is the only thing that is out of balance for my taste. Maybe a year or two longer to mellow out a bit but not that bad right now.
