  October 9, 2008 - Dark and earthy but in a muted way. Blackberry and hints of rasberry and a short finish. Even tannins. Perhaps with a bit more time this wine will show more as you get the feeling its holding back. Overall a pleasurable pour. I'm a fan of Copain wines, but one was a just a bit underwhelming.
