  March 21, 2020 - Opened (for comparison) after finishing a bottle of L. Boillot, Gevrey, villages, 2005 (which was absolutely lovely). There are lots of similarities between the wines. As with the Gevrey (see tasting note on cellar tracker), this is well made and lovely. Perhaps less spicy, red fruits still apparent on the palate and I think there is more time left with this wine (a little bit of tannin still evident). So, justifies (?) the 1er cru status in that sense. 92
