  March 25, 2020 - i'm a little less enthusiastic about this than I was in 2014 when it was so new you could still smell the vineyard. it seems to have closed down a bit, not unusual for Clos des Papes in my experience. I tend to find them either delightful in very early youth or lovely and soft in older age. In the middle they are a bit less remarkable. Still fine wine on any given day, of course.
