March 26, 2020 - Blood colored and very pale -- looks like a much older wine. On the palate...feh. Faint cranberries and poopy diapers. This tastes like a chemistry experiment gone bad. Open in the glass for 5 hours -- it never improved. I like Tissot wines, but when you don't add SO2, bad things can happen and bad things happened. Provenance is perfect, so I can only fault the winemaker.
A note about the score: this wine is flawed, but it seems to be flawed because of the decision not to add sulfur. Since this was a conscious choice of the winemaker, I believe it's fair to score what is in the bottle, as that was always a possible outcome of natural winemaking. If anything, I worry that I scored the wine too highly.1,604 views

3/26/20, 3:53 PM - Funny. I quite like this wine but I really dislike his DD. I love the whites, sparklers and Vin Jaune. The Singulier is also a particular success. I suppose he isnt afraid to take risks and have us really dislike certain bottles

3/26/20, 5:25 PM - I think that's a fair take. I have had this bottling before (previous vintages) and liked it. When you're on a knife's edge, it doesn't take much to suffer a cut.
