  March 28, 2020 - Unbelievable that this wine is still wonderful. Medium garnet in color as befitting its age. Nose of subtle cherry, earth and leather. Very smooth on palate with integrated tannin, medium long finish, with complex flavors of cherry, sweet red fruit, earth, leather, and hints of spice box. It stirred a wonderful memory of visiting the winery in late 1990's in its rustic tasting room that was a touchstone to original California winery experience in the Russian River.

  3/30/20, 1:09 PM - I forgot to rate the wine and would put it at a 95. It had almost pinot noir like qualities which is not surprizing that given that Gary Farrell was the wine maker at the time.
