April 1, 2020 - Two pinot noir bottles pulled out of our blinded pinot cases and decanted . One wine very dark ruby in colour - nose big dark raspberries but somewhat reduced with stemmy pepper palate that finished short - the green pepper frankly overwhelmed the tasting experience. Second wine light rouge colour with sweet cranberry nose and bright wild strawberries on the palate - morphing into a long bing cherry with a whiff of vanilla finish. The green pepper wine was the 2008 PGC Etzel and the red berry elixir was the 2011 Foxtrot Henricsson Reserve - the Henricsson was gone before 1/4 of the PGC was consumed.....
