  April 4, 2020 - Ruby red in color. Notes of dark cherry, dark chocolate and tobacco. Dry, medium body, medium acidity, and smooth tannins. This was a very elegant wine. Not sure if it is quarantine but I’m loving California Zinfandels with some age.

  In this stay home thing, I should be opening some of my treats, but I just can't bring myself to do it as I think of the tasting events I could host, and then I go get some $20 bottle to have with dinner!

  4/6/20, 6:17 PM - 2017 was drinking really nice. 2015 will probably be even nicer. I have drank a number of older wines, and have not always loved them. I find for me 5 - 10 years seems to be the sweet spot for me.
