  April 14, 2020 - This is a lean and lithe Smaragd -- far different than the opulent and viscous wines that many others (e.g., F.X. Pichler) often put out. This shows elegant bitter citrus, hints of tropical fruit, and blazing acidity without the flat/medicinal notes that I sometimes find in Nikolaihof. Very nice and positively gulpable.
