  April 16, 2020 - On my second bottle of this over the past month. This is currently a very fruit forward wine with a bunch of layers and a very long finish. Tannins are definitely still there though fairly well developed and integrated and I wish there was maybe a hair more acid to balance out some of the fruit. The alcohol peeks out a little too much if warm. I saw the description of "spicy" from one of the reviewers and agree with that esp on p&p. This bottle really calms down nicely when you make sure to drink it cool and give it at least an hour of air. This stuff is delicious as long as you make sure to follow those last 2 steps. I've got the second half of this bottle currently waiting for 5pm today and will be very interested to see how it drinks on day 2.
  
  Day 2 notes: Very consistent with night one notes. Tannins have smoothed out somewhat. This definitely has the stuffing to lay down for a while longer. If drinking it now, would encourage at least a 1 hour decant. Very good stuff.
