  April 17, 2020 - Such a fun experience! I purchased a vertical of Chave Hermitage blanc from 2000-2013, and since there are 3 bottles of 2002, I decided this vintage I would try first. Notwithstanding some of the modest ratings, this wine does not disappoint! It is silky, lightweight and full of flavors--toasted almond, white flowers, honeysuckle and just enough acidity for balance and structure. Beautiful floral finish. Drinks very well on it's own or paired with food.
