  October 22, 2008 - Decanted for two hours, and expected magic based on everything that I had heard about this wine. The nose was still muted, the tannins were rounded towards the end. It had great mouth feel, but the pallette was mostly smoke, which overpowered a subtle cherry and strawberry fruit characteristic. Maybe it needed a few more hours, but I will definitely wait 5-7 years before opening the other bottle.
